  1. JOB TITLE: PROCUREMENT MANAGER

REPORTS TO: CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

LOCATION: HARARE

JOB PURPOSE:

To manage the procurement of goods and services for the Commission

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Advise the Accounting Officer on all procurement related technical issues.
  • Manage the Procurement Management Unit.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of the Commission’s procurement plan.
  • Manage the Tendering process.
  • Coordinate the process of preparing procurement contracts.
  • Cultivate the Commission’s relationships with the suppliers.
  • Maintain records on all procurement proceedings and related matters
  • Coordinate preparation of reports for the Unit.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management and Procurement or equivalent
  • A relevant Master’s degree is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 6 years working experience

REPORTS TO: MANAGER COMPLAINTS HANDING AND INVESTIGATIONS

STATION: MASVINGO REGIONAL OFFICE

JOB PURPOSE:

The purpose of the job is to receive complaints and investigate violations of rights relating to gender.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drafting Regional Investigations strategies that meet Zimbabwe Gender Commission’s objectives.
  • Planning investigations of possible violations related to gender through conducting risk and safety assessment in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Conducting investigations through evidence gathering, interviewing, report writing and case management.
  • Maintaining an intake system for categorizing and prioritizing all complaints.
  • Operating a comprehensive case management system for the effective tracking, management of and reporting on cases at all stages of investigations.
  • Drafting monthly investigation reports, which highlight comments and performance.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree in Social Sciences or any equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience

STATION: HEAD OFFICE

JOB PURPOSE:

The purpose of the job is to provide administrative support to Executives.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Typing all correspondences and dictations from the Executive.
  • Manage the Executive’s calendars and schedules.
  • Organizing meetings
  • Answering or screening emails, calls and in-person appointments.
  • Coordinating travel and logistics for business trips, including booking travel and preparing itineraries.
  • Record and distribute minutes/action items for meetings attended as assigned
  • Overseeing general office processes, such as ordering office supplies, maintaining inventory levels and coordinating refreshments/meeting catering.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • National Diploma in Office Management or any equivalent qualification

STATION: GWERU REGIONAL OFFICE

JOB PURPOSE:

To provide housekeeping and office support services.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cleaning and tiding offices daily.
  • Emptying bins and refuse collection.
  • Preparing teas and beverages.
  • Delivering and dispatching of all correspondence and records.
  • Loading and offloading of materials.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 O’ level passes
  • Minimum of 1 year experience
