Enquiry Into The Systemic Barriers To Women’s Participation In Zimbabwe’s Mining Sector Value Chain

This book is based on a research carried out by Women and Law in Southern Africa (WLSA), Zimbabwe in partnership with lawyers and social scientists from the Zimbabwe Gender Commission. The book interrogates opportunities and barriers to women’s full and sustainable participation in mining. The study looked at sector institutions (policies, laws and organizational practices). It included a review of the mining sector’s place in Zimbabwe’s pre-colonial and post-colonial governance.
